Today I visited several churches in Lisbon and had time to go to the National Tile Museum. Though my guidebook raved about this niche museum and there’s lots of beautiful tile in Portugal I was skeptical.
I saved the tiles for the end of the day. This museum was definitely worth the trek across town.

One surprise about the museum is that there’s a church, a magnificent small church inside it.

This little gem is perfect for anyone who likes art, design or ceramics.
